Crime Scene Middletown; Arrest Warrants Dominate Police Report For 1/20/12 – 1/24/12

Thomas Burgos, age 24, from Piave Avenue in Staten Island, NY, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Richard Fulham on Contempt of Court warrants issued by the Middletown and Parsippany Municipal Courts. He was held on $1,215.00 bail.

Christopher Hartman, age 26, from Fairview Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Driving While Intoxicated on Cherry Tree Farm Road. He was released pending a court date.


Aarron Butts, age 25, from Throckmorton Avenue in Eatontown, NJ, arrested on January 21, 2012 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Criminal Mischief, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Receiving Stolen Property. He was held on $7,500 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Chester Kaczprowicz, age 56, from Lexington Court in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on January 21, 2012 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500.00 bail.
Joseph Lepkoski, age 20, from Gillville Lane in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 21, 2012 by Corporal Keith MacDonald on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $1,000.00 bail.

Michael Kelly, age 38, from Southview Terrace in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 21, 2012 by Patrolman Christopher Dee for Disorderly Conduct and Loitering with the Intent to use a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was released pending a court date.

Robert Ervin, age 24, from Lorillard Avenue in Union Beach, NJ, arrested on January 21, 2012 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Disorderly Conduct and Theft. He was released pending a court date.

On January 21, 2012 Corporal Thomas Meckier arrested a 17 year old male juvenile from Middletown, NJ, for Bruglary, Harassment and Criminal Mischief. He was released pending a court date.

Biagio Timoniere, age 46, from Harvard Street in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on January 21, 2012 by Corporal Keith MacDonald on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $407.00 bail.

Deborah Kopacz, age 58, from Wilson Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cocaine and Receiving Stolen Property. She was released pending a court date.

James Postiglione, age 47, from Club House Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte for Obstructing the Administration of Law, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. He was released pending a court date.

John Hegel, age 55, from Montana Avenue in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Ryan Riffert for Shoplifting from the Sears Store. He was released after posting $5,000.00 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Scott Kruse, age 28, from Elyar Terrace in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Corporal Keith MacDonald on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500.00 bail.

Keith Muhlon, age 34, from Glen Avenue in Hazlet, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by patrolman Anthony Bumbico on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Parsippany Municipal Court. He was released after posting $89.00 bail.

Gordon Reiger, age 56, from Florence Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold, NJ, on $1,000.00 bail.

Kimberly Reiger, age 20, from Prospect Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Richard Raike on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Westwood Municipal Court. She was held on $1,200.00 bail.

Nicholas Ballard, age 21, from Birchwood Lane in Middletown, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Richard Raike for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and on a Contempt of Court warrants issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $4,790.00 bail.

Christoph McCleary, age 28, from Maple Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on January 22, 2012 by Patrolman Richard Fulham on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Woodbridge Municipal Court. He was held on $1,303.00 bail.

Charile Brito, age 38, from Newark Avenue in Jersey City, NJ, arrested on January 20, 2012 by Patrolman Joseph Ahlmeyer on a Contempt of Court issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold, NJ, on $750.00 bail.

Connor Post, age 18, from Linda Street in Belford, NJ, arrested on January 21, 2012 by Patrolman Jason Caruso for Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing the Administration of Law and Resisting Arrest. He was held pending bail.

Adam Stranges, age 20, from Sandy Hook Avenue in Belford, NJ, arrested on January 22, 2012 by Patrolman James Beirne on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Highlands Municipal Court. He was held on $630.00 bail.

Laurie Ruane, age 49, from Roebling Court in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on January 22, 2012 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte for Simple Assault. She was released pending a court date.

Austin Norris, age 24, from Pineview Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on January 22, 2012 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $857.00 bail with a 10% option.

Andrew Diantonio, age 24, from Schanck Road in Holmdel, NJ, arrested on January 24, 2012 by Patrolman Stephen Keller on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by Tinton Falls Municipal Court. He was released after posting $106.00 bail.

Crime Scene Middletown: Shoplifting and Marijuana Busts Prevail

On October 16, 2011 at approximately 6:40 pm Patrolman Michael Pintilie responded to the Sears Store in reference to a report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival the officer was advised by store security that they had observed Hany Salib, age 46, from Crest Circle in Matawan, NJ, attempt to steal approximately $160.00 worth of tools.

Officer Pintilie conducted an investigation which resulted in Salib being arrested for Shoplifting. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released pending a court date.

On October 16, 2011 at approximately 3:50 am Patrolman John Soltysik was on patrol in the area of Oak Hill Road when he stopped a vehicle for having a rear light out. The officer approached the driver, identified as Christopher Aiello, age 24, from Fox Wood Run in Middletown, NJ, at which point he detected the strong odor of raw Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The officer also observed a grinder, which is a device used to prepare Marijuana for smoking, in plain view inside the vehicle.

Officer Soltysik conducted an investigation which resulted in Aiello being charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The officer also determined that there was an outstanding Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Eatontown Municipal Court for Aiello’s arrest. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released after posting $89.00 bail.

On October 15, 2011 at approximately 12:55 am Patrolman Jason Caruso was on patrol in the area of Leonardville Road when he stopped a vehicle for multiple violations. The officer approached the vehicle at which point he observed a Marijuana grinder, which is a device used to process Marijuana for smoking, and a glass pipe used to smoke Marijuana which contained Marijuana residue in plain view in the car.

The officer conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrests of Kathryn Palmer, age 18, from Pointe Circle in Tinton Falls, NJ; Anthony Colacino, age 18, from Crystal Court in Middletown, NJ; Robert Mackie, age 19, from Paul Place in Port Monmouth, NJ, and a 17 year old male juvenile from Middletown, NJ, for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All subjects were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released pending a court date. Officer Michael Nolan assisted with the arrests.

On October 15, 2011 at approximately 8:10 pm Police Officer Janine Kennedy responded to the Target Store in reference to a Shoplifting. Upon arrival she was advised by security that they observed two subjects cut the plastic packaging off of a compact disk in an attempt to steal the item without paying for it.

Officer Kennedy conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrests of Anthony Desiderio Jr, age 41, from Cortel You in Staten Island, NY; and Cliff Desiderio, age 36, from Clubhouse Drive in Middletown, NJ, for Shoplifting. Police say the two are brothers. Both subjects were transported to police headquarters where they are processed and released pending a court date.
On October 14, 2011 at approximately 4:35 pm Police Officer Janine Kennedy was on patrol in the area of Highway 36 when she stopped a vehicle for having a broken tail light. Officer Kennedy approached the driver, identified as Colleen Huderwitz, age 46, from 9th Street in Belford, NJ, at which point she detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath.

Officer Kennedy conducted an investigation which resulted in Huderwitz being arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released pending a court date.

On October 14, 2011 at approximately 11:20 pm Patrolman Charles Higgins responded to a motor vehicle crash on Patterson Lane. While conducting his investigation, David King, age 20, from Church Street in Belford, NJ, attempted to pick up debris from the crash scene. Officer Higgins issued him numerous warning to stop touching the debris which was still being used in the investigation.

King refused to stop interfering with the investigation at which point he was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released pending a court date.

On October 14, 2011 Patrolman Anthony Gigante and Patrolman Felipe Benedit of the Quality of Life Unit arrested Michelle Distaulo, age 44, from Beechwood Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, for Obtaining a Controlled Dangerous Substance by Fraud, Forgery and Uttering as a result of investigation after Distaulo attempted to fill a prescription for Oxycodone at the Target Pharmacy.

The pharmacy contacted the police after they realized the prescription blank given to them by Distaulo was of the same series that was stolen from a local doctor’s office. Distaulo was processed and released pending a court date.

On October 13, 2011 at approximately 5:45 pm Patrolman Robert McNair was on patrol in the area of Ideal Beach when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot. Officer McNair approached the vehicle and conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrests of Kyle Clayton, age 19, from Thousand Oaks Drive in Atlantic Highlands, NJ; Christopher Benino, age 19, from Murphy Road in Port Monmouth, NJ, and a 17 year old female juvenile from Middletown, NJ, for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana.

All three subjects were processed and released pending a court date.

On October 13, 2011 at approximately 10:50 am Corporal Thomas Meckier responded to a residence on Washington Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, in reference to a report of a theft of checks. Upon arrival at the residence the officer was advised by the victim that her son, Ryan Davies, age 24, from Washington Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, had stolen and forged some of her checks.

Officer Mecker conducted an investigation which resulted in Davies being charged with Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Fraud. He was held on $5,000.00 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

On October 11, 2011 at approximately 11:25 Sergeant Michael Kenney was on patrol in the area of Highway 35 when he stopped a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation. Officer Kenney approached the driver, identified as Joseph Olaya, age 33, from Donald Boulevard in Holbrook, NY, at which point he detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.

Sergeant Kenney conducted an investigation which resulted in Olaya being arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was taken into custody and was searched incident to the arrest at which point Officer Kenney located Marijuana and a pipe used to smoke Marijuana on his person.

Olaya was transported to police headquarters where he was charged with the additional offenses of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and released pending a court date.

William Deppisch, age 23, from Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright, NJ, arrested on October 16, 2011 by Police Officer Janine Kennedy on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500.00 bail.

Eric Greenhouse, age 28, from Geary Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 16, 2011 by Sergeant John Werner on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Sayreville Municipal Court. He was released after posting $139.00 bail.

William Chasmer Jr, age 29, from Briar Mills Drive in Brick, NJ, arrested on October 15, 2011 by Patrolman Thomas Russo for Simple Assault. He was held on $2,500.00 with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Jason Venson, age 31, from Knollwood Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 16, 2011 by Corporal Ronald Chesek for Violation of a Court Order. He was released pending a court date.

David Depuma, age 32, from Hudson Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 14, 2011 by Patrolman Felipe Benedit and Patrolman Anthony Gigante of the Quality of Life Unit for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was released pending a court date.

Theodore Davis, age 87, from Hillside Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, arrested on October 14, 2011 by Patrolman Brian Dilworth for Aggravated Assault. He was released on his own recognizance by Judge Richard Thompson pending a court date.

Rudolph Jones, age 56, from Monmouth Parkway in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 13, 2011 by Patrolman Lawrence Seymour on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $1,000.00 bail.

Barry Grasser, age 65, from New Monmouth Road in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 13, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $250.00 bail.

Joseph McCabe, age 26, from Bay Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 15, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court. He was turned over to the Keansburg Police Department.

Richard Steinhart, age 29, from Jumping Brook Road in Lincroft, NJ, arrested on October 15, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $349.00 bail.

Allyson Forte, age 40, from Gayle Street in Middletown, NJ, arrested on October 14, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Englishtown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $400.00 bail.

Charlie James, age 23, from Pine Street in Bloomfield, NJ, arrested on October 14, 2011 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein on two Contempt of Court warrants issued by the Middletown and New Brunswick Municipal Courts. He was released after posting $1,250.00 bail.

Thomas Phillips, age 32, from Ocean Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on October 16, 2011 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte for Simple Assault with a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated as a result of an investigation conducted by the officer into a motor vehicle crash that occurred at Thompson Avenue and Highway 36. He was released pending a court date.

Crime Scene Middletown: Homeowner Catches Burglar Exiting Home With Stolen Property & Other Recent Activity

On August 31, 2011 Detective Daniel Sullivan arrested Christopher Perez-Santalla for Theft as a result of an investigation into a theft of a Rolex watch from a residence on Kevan Place.

Perez-Santalla was processed and released pending a court date.

On August 30, 2011 at approximately 8:20 pm Patrolman Christopher Dee and Patrolman Ray Sofield of the Quality of Life Unit were on patrol in the area of Bodman Park when they observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot. The officers approached the vehicle at which point they noticed a Marijuana cigarette in plain view on the floor of the vehicle.

The officers conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrests of Nicholas Branstner, age 28, from Christol Street in Metuchen, NJ, and Jillian McGaffigan, age 23, from Berkshire Street in Middletown, NJ, for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mc Gaffigan was also charged with Resisting Arrest by refusing to allow the officers to handcuff her.

Both subjects were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released pending a court date.

On August 30, 2011 at approximately 1:10 am Patrolman John Mele responded to a report of eggs being thrown at a house. Upon arrival the officer spoke with a witness who provided the officer with a plate number and description of the vehicle involved in the incident.

Officer Mele located the vehicle and conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrest of Michael Amitrani, age 18, from Blanche Court in Middletown, NJ, being arrested for Criminal Mischief. The officer conducted a search incident to the arrest and located a Marijuana grinder, which is a device used to prepare Marijuana for smoking and a pipe used for smoking Marijuana in Amitrani’s pocket.

Amitrani was charged with the additional offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released pending a court date.

On August 29, 2011 at approximately 7:55 pm Patrolman Albert Scott was on patrol in the area of Highway 36 and Leonard Avenue when he observed a vehicle drive through the intersection that had been blocked with traffic cones and barricades due to the traffic light not function because of a power outage caused by Hurricane Irene. The officer was unable to stop the vehicle because he was on his way to an emergency call.

Officer Scott cleared the emergency call and was on patrol again in the same area when he observed the same vehicle drive through the intersection again, this time right over the traffic cones causing damage. Officer Scott stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, identified as William Rohweder, age 20, from Burlington Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, for Criminal Mischief and numerous motor vehicle violations.

Rohweder was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released pending a court date.

On August 29, 2011 at approximately 3:00 am Patrolman Lawrence Seymour was directing traffic at the intersection of Highway 35 and Apple Farm Road due to tree that had fallen across the road caused by Hurricane Irene when he observed a vehicle drive over traffic cones that had been set up to assist with the road closing. Officer Seymour stopped the vehicle and approached the driver, identified as Sean Noden, age 25, from Clubhouse Drive in Middletown, NJ, at which point he detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.

Officer Seymour conducted an investigation which resulted in Noden being arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, and Reckless Driving. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released pending a court date.

On August 29, 2011 at approximately 3:00 pm Patrolman Thomas Russo and Detective Laurence Schachtel responded to a residence on Bruce Road in reference to a report of a homeowner who had just caught a subject burglarizing his home. Upon arrival the homeowner advised the officers that he had returned home and observed the subject, identified as Kevin O’Grady, age 22, from Davis Lane in Red Bank, NJ, exiting his house. The homeowner detained O’Grady until police arrived on scene.

Detective Schachtel and Officer Russo conducted an investigation and located Roxicodone pills and jewelry believed to be stolen inside O’Grady’s vehicle. O’Grady was arrested for Burglary, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Roxicodone and Possession of Stolen Property. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and was held on $17,500.00 bail set by Judge James Berube.

On August 27, 2011 at approximately 2:55 am Sgt. William Colangelo was on patrol in the area of Highway 35 and Apple Farm Road when he observed a driver asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle at a green light. Sgt. Colangelo approached the vehicle to check on the driver, identified as Taylor Hendricks, age 24, from Rutledge Drive in Middletown, NJ, at which point he observed two baggies containing pills laying on the seat next to the driver.

Sgt. Colangelo continued his investigation which resulted in Hendricks being arrested for Unlawful Possession of Xanax and Unlawful Possession of Oxycodone. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released after posting $2,500.00 bail.

Vanessa Turner, age 30, from Redfern Court in Lincroft, NJ, arrested on August 30, 2011 by Patrolman Stephen Keller on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Sayreville Municipal Court. She was released after posting $1,000.00 bail.

Gary Stone, age 40, from Church Street in Belford, NJ, arrested on August 29, 2011 by Patrolman Albert Scott on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $1,000.00 bail.

Kevin Masterson, age 39, from Palmer Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 30, 2011 by Patrolman Michael Pintilie on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $9,126.65 bail.

David Marazzo, age 48, from Tindall Road in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 30, 2011 by Patrolman Michael Pintilie on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Eatontown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $89.00 bail.

Emilio Rivera, age 51, from Highway 36 in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 31, 2011 by Patrolman Brian Dilworth for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.

Crime Scene Middletown: Burglary Suspect Apprehended,Employee Theft, Shoplifters Litter Roadway With Stolen Goods And Other Recent Activity

ISSUED Monday, JULY 25TH, 2011 – Arrests do not indicate convictions

On July 21, 2011 at approximately 1:25 pm Patrolman Raymond Sofield responded to the area of Atlantic Avenue to assist the Keansburg Police Department search for a suspect wanted for committing a burglary in Keansburg during which jewelry and a handgun were stolen. Officer Sofeild and officers from the Keansburg Police Department located the suspect, identified as Joseph Lynch, age 25, from Atlantic Avenue in Middletown, at his residence.

The officers conducted an investigation which resulted in Lynch being arrested for Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of a Handgun. Police located the stolen handgun and jewelry at his residence at the time of the arrest.

Lynch was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and bail was set at $55,000.00 with a 10% option on the Middletown charges. Lynch also faces charges in Keansburg.

On July 21, 2011 at approximately 12:20 pm Patrolman Donald Coates and Patrolman Jason Caruso were on patrol in the area of Navesink Avenue when they stopped a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign.

The officers approached the vehicle to speak with the driver when they observed a baggie containing Marijuana and a cigar used to smoke Marijuana in plain view in the car. The officers continued their investigation which resulted in the arrests of Shannon Bell, age 20, from Palmer Avenue in Belford, NJ; Anthony McDonnell, age 21, from Port Monmouth Road in Middletown and a 15 year old male juvenile also from Port Monmouth Road in Middletown being arrested for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All three subjects were transported to police headquarters for processing. The juvenile was released to his guardian and McDonnell and Bell were released pending a court date.

On July 22, 2011 at approximately 1:36pm Corporal James Keenan responded to the Target Store in reference to a report of an employee theft. Upon arrival the officer was advised by store security that they had observed an employee, identified as Jennifer Digeso, age 29, from Beachway Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, ring several transactions into the cash register and then void them and pocket the cash.

Officer Keenan conducted an investigation which resulted in Digeso being arrested for theft. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released pending a court date.

On July 24, 2011 at approximately 5:05 pm Officer Lisa Vreeland responded to the Shoprite store in reference to a report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival the officer was advised by the store manager that two men had entered the store and then left with a basket full of merchandise. The men reportedly entered a car and attempted to leave the parking lot when their car struck another vehicle.

The manager attempted to approach the vehicle at this time but the vehicle fled the area. The store manager followed the vehicle in his car and discovered the suspects threw the stolen items out of the vehicle. He was able to obtain a plate number for the car which he then provided to the police.

Officer Vreeland located the suspects and conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrests of Robert Newell, age 40, form Kenwood Drive in Middletown and Thomas Scott, age 40, from Atlantic Avenue in Long Branch, NJ, for Shoplifting and Conspiracy. Both subjects were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and were being held on $10,000.00 bail set by Judge James Berube.

On July 24, 2011 at approximately 3:00 am Patrolman Charles Higgins was on patrol in the area of Highway 36 and Church Street when he stopped a vehicle for speeding. Officer Higgins approached the driver, identified as Albin Wicki, age 21, from Third Street in Union Beach, NJ, at which point he detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.

Officer Higgins conducted an investigation which resulted in Wicki being arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Speeding. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released pending a court date.

The Middletown Police Department reports the arrests of the following subjects for various offenses:

Kyle Clayton, age 19, from Thousand Oaks Drive in Middletown, NJ, arrested on July 21, 2011 by Corporal Daniel Murdoch for Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief. He was released pending a court date.

Richard Emme, age 49, from Leonardville Road in Belford, NJ, arrested on July 22, 2011 by Patrolman Christian Clark for Violating a Court Order. He was released after posting $1,000.00 bail with a 10% option.

Ryan Mason, age 21, from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, arrested on July 22, 2011 by Patrolman Adam Vandetti on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $250.00 bail.

Randy Wagner, age 33, from Fourth Street in East Pennsylvania, arrested on July 22, 2011 by Patrolman Christopher Dee on a Contempt of Court warrant. He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold, NJ.He w

Michael Lennon, age 35, from Seabreeze Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on July 22, 2011 by Patrolman Donald Coates on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Newark Municipal Court and a Failure to Appear warrant Issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was being held on bail.

Robert Pagan, age 30, from Kimberly Court in Middletown, NJ, arrested on July 24, 2011 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $250.00 bail.

The Middletown Police Department has arrested, Nicholas Tracy, age 21, from Clubhouse Drive in Beachwood, NJ and charged him with committing four residential burglaries along Navesink River Road that totaled over $500,000.00 in stolen jewelry.

The burglaries occurred over a two month period beginning in March of 2011. On April 13, 2011 police responded to a residence on Navesink River Road in reference to a burglar alarm activation. Upon arrival Patrolman Ryan Riffert and Patrolman Carl Roth located Tracy hiding in a third floor bathroom and took him into custody.

Detective William Strohkirch, the lead investigator in the case, and Detective Peter White, conducted the follow up investigation which resulted in Tracy being charged with four counts of third degree Burglary and three counts of second degree Theft and the recovery of many of the stolen items. Tracy was processed and was being held on $100,000 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Police credit Officers Riffert and Roth with performing outstanding police work that resulted in catching Tracy inside the residence and Detective Strohkirch and Detective White with conducting a thorough follow up investigation which connected him to the other three burglaries and the recovery of the stolen property.

>Crime Scene Middletown: TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR NUMEROUS CAR BURGLARIES

On March 3, 2011 at approximately 9:30 pm police responded to a report of two subjects breaking into cars in the area of Joycee Court. The caller provided police with a description of the two subjects.

Patrolman Michael Pintilie and Corporal Bernard Chenoweth responded to the area and located two subjects fitting the description. The officers conducted an investigation resulting in the arrests of Joseph Wyckoff, age 19, from Nautilus Drive in Leonardo and Joshua Lindner, age 18, from Kimberly Court in Middletown.

Police say Wyckoff and Lindner entered at least five vehicles and removed various items from the cars.

Both subjects were charged with Burglary, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Conspiracy. Wyckoff was also charged with Possession of under 50 grams of Marijuana after police located the marijuana in his vehicle during the course of the investigation.

Both subjects were released on summonses pending a court appearance.
