Princess the Camel has spoken, with her last prediction for the season, Princess has chosen the Green Bay Packers to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Superbowl XLV this coming Sunday.
What’s the reasoning behind Princesses prediction? It seems to have more to do with personal feels towards Green Bay’s linebacker Clay Matthews and what he said about Michael Vick than it does with how she expects the game to be played by the Steelers.
Princess stated, “..The Packers are my team. The quarterback Rogers is on fire right now and I think he might light the Steelers up. And that Packers linebacker – Clay Matthews … I like that guy. A couple of weeks ago before the game with Philadelphia he said he had 3 dogs and couldn’t wait to play Philadelphia and tackle that quarterback ……. and he did just that. He’s my kind of guy!!…”
I don’t know if I agree with Princess on this one. I think it will be a great game but I’m leaning towards the Steelers.
After being on fire for the last 5 or 6 games of the season, Packers’s quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a so-so game against the Bears in the NFC Championship game and now with two week layoff between games I’m not so sure that he will be as sharp in this game.
The Steelers on the other hand are consistent and have been there before. Say what you will about Ben Roethlisberger and his character flaws, he’s tough. All the guy has done is win in the NFL and with two previous Superbowl titles under his belt, he know what it takes to play in the game and come out victorious.
My prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers 27 Green Bay Packers 24
