>Crime Scene Middletown: POLICE REPORT THE ARREST OF A JUVENILE FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION AND THREE OTHERS ON WARRANTS

On April 7, 2011 at approximately 9:15 pm police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Knollwood Drive.

Upon arrival Patrolman Brian McGrogan located the vehicle and approached the occupants. While speaking with them, Officer McGrogan detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a seventeen year old juvenile from Belford and the recovery of marijuana from the car.

The juvenile was transported to police headquarters where he was charged with Possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and was released to his mother.

The Middletown police also arrested the following subjects on warrants:

April 5, 2011: Patrick McGee, age 24, from Shore Drive in Highlands, NJ, arrested by Police Officer Lisa Vreeland on a Contempt of court warrant. McGee was released after posting $500.00 bail.

April 5, 2011: Nicholas Ballard, age 21, from Birchwood Lane in Middletown, arrested by Police Officer Lisa Vreeland on a Contempt of court warrant. Ballard was released after posting $1500.00 bail.

April 6, 2011: Johnny Cooke, age 44, from Broadway Avenue in Bayonne, NJ, arrested by Patrolman James Beirne on a Contempt of court warrant issued by the Jersey City Municipal Court. Cooke was released after posting $280.00 bail.
