After a win over the Texans last week, Joe Flacco and the Ravens will take on Tom Brady and the Patriots at Gillette Stadium in the AFC Championship and after dominating the Green Bay Packers last week, the New York Giants will travel to Candlestick Park to square off against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship. Join NFL.com’s Pat Kirwan and Jason Horowitz as they break down these matchups.
For the last five week Princess the Camel and the NY Giants have been on a roll; Princess has been picking the Giants to defeat those that have gone up against them while the Giants have made her look good by doing just that.
Each are on an incredible and unlikely winning streak given the fact that
the Giants were being over match on the field and both the Giants’s Head Coach Tom Coughlin and Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell were on the verge of losing their jobs. It’s amazing what a well timed winning streak will do for you!
As every football fan knows, this weekend is the NFC and AFC Championship games and the winners of those games will move on to the Super Bowl in two weeks
For this weeks NFL pick Princess the prognosticating Camel has decided to stay true blue with her pick. Princess feels that the winner of the NFC Championship game on Sunday, being played out in San Fransisco, will be none other than the NY Giants!
Knowing how good the San Fransisco 49ers have been this year is and what a tough game the Giants are heading into on Sunday being a 3 point underdog, Princess had this to say about the game, “…The Giant defense is now a force to be reckoned with and Eli will take care of business…“
Well lets hope that Princess’s prediction comes true again this week, six in a row would be sweet for both Princess and the Giants

For those having a little fun keeping track of Princess the Camel’s NFL picks I need to give an update after missing the past two weeks, NFL weeks 10 & 11.
Last week I missed posting about Princess’s choice to take the NY Giants over the S.F 49ers
, I got busy with post election stuff and honey-do lists. Princess picked the Giants to beat the 49ers
in that game out on the left coast believing that Eli Manning would be able to rally the team from behind once again late in the game if necessary. And if it wasn’t for an injury on defense to Middle-linebacker Michael Boley, the Giants might have held their opposition and allowed Eli to make the comeback complete.
This weeks game for week 11 went off last night between the NY Jets vs the Denver Broncos.
Due to the game being played on Thursday night this week, I didn’t check in with Princess early enough this week to see her pick.
In last night’s game, Princess like most of us, assumed that the Jets would handily take care of Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos but you remember what the say about assuming… Poor plays on offense (interception returned for a touchdown) and defense (Tebow 20 yard touchdown run on third and 4 with a minutes to play) had the Jets crashing to earth and the Broncos sitting high in their saddles eking out the 17-13 victory.
We’ll have to wait to see next week if Princess rights her recent losing ways but for those now keeping score, after losses the past two weeks Princess’s record stands at 6W-5L
