Capt. Steve Rogers (A/K/A Alec Baldwin) Issues An Apology For American Airlines

American Airline’s pilot Capt. Steve Rogers, appeared on this segment of SNL’s Weekend Update last night to issue an apology to actor Alec Baldwin for having Baldwin thrown off one of its planes last week for not adhering to standard procedure of turning off all electronic devices before take off.

Baldwin was in the middle of playing the game “Words” on his iPad with friends when confronted and then went off the deep end when asked to leave the plane.

Last night however, Baldwin had the last laugh issuing an apology to himself over the incident

Friday Morning Humor: It’s a Wonderful Life Lost Ending

Everyone know the heart warming Christmas classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” and it’s happy ending. The townsfolk of Bedford Falls come to George Baileys rescue on Christmas Eve with enough cash to thwart old man Potter’s attempts to finally take over the Building and Loan.

Recently unearthed however is a somewhat more controversial alternative ending that director Frank Capra had cut from the ending of the movie. Capra had no intentions of allowing anyone to see this alternative ending , it was believed to have been destroyed by Capra himself until a copy of it surfaced in some old film collectors attic a few years back, or so the story goes.

I think that you will find it interesting but I hope that it doesn’t ruin the holiday classic for you the next time you happen to see it!

Burger Buddy

If you missed the season finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend, you missed a classic skit, Will Farrel was back to parody George W. Bush.

In the skit, George (Will) helps Dick Cheney (Darrel Hammond) prepare for his interview on Meet the Press. At one point during the interview prep, George says to Dick, “I wish I had a burger buddy” like vice president Joe Biden.

Very funny stuff!
